Kinetic Dual-Spin Wind Sculpt - NoAMS
Print Profile(3)

Description
✨ Transform wind into mesmerizing art! ✨
Bring your garden to life with this Kinetic Dual-Spin Wind Sculpt. Designed with two independent sets of blades that rotate in opposite directions, it creates a stunning visual illusion even in a light breeze.
Engineered for Performance:
This version is optimized for maximum smoothness using high-quality bearings. The counter-rotating effect provides a sophisticated look that standard wind spinners simply can't match.
🔧 Technical & Printing Details
- Material Choice: MUST be printed in PETG. Since the blades are thin and will be exposed to direct sunlight and wind stress, PETG’s heat resistance and toughness are essential. No AMS reuired.
- Aesthetic Tip: Using transparent or translucent filaments creates a beautiful effect as sunlight passes through the spinning blades.
- Supports: Please use my provided Print Profiles. They include custom-tuned supports designed to protect the delicate blades during printing. Remove supports carefully to avoid damaging the thin edges.
- Bearing Requirements:
• Large Blade Set: Uses 1x 6002-2RS (or 6002) bearing.
• Small Blade Set: Uses 1x 6000-2RS (or 6000) bearing.
• (2RS versions are recommended for outdoor use as they are sealed against dust and debris).- Or you can may be try to print these (i didnt try but i expect taht it will works very well https://makerworld.com/en/models/2586030-ball-bearings-608-6000-6001-6002-print-in-place)
- Printer Compatibility: This initial release is for Large Format Printers (H2x / 300mm+ boards) due to the size of the large blades.
- Coming Soon (within 72h): DONE
- 🚀 NEW UPDATE: Optimized Profiles for A1, P1, X1 & Bearingless Version
Update: I have just released new print profiles optimized for A1, P1, P2S, X1, and X2D series printers!
- Bearingless Version: These new profiles are specifically designed to work without bearings. The mechanical tolerances have been precisely tuned to ensure smooth rotation even without hardware, though they may require a slightly stronger breeze to start spinning.
- Optimized Dimensions: All components have been carefully downscaled to fit the standard 256x256mm (or smaller) print beds while maintaining perfect functionality.
- Printing Advice: Please use my official print profile for the best results, as they contain the necessary adjustments for these specific versions. Alternatively, feel free to use my profiles as a starting point and tweak them to your specific needs!
🛠️ Assembly & Mounting
Assembly is straightforward. The center bore is designed to fit a standard mounting rod. I used a simple aluminum rod from IKEA, but any rigid rod of similar diameter will work perfectly. Experiment with different color combinations for the two blade sets to maximize the "counter-rotating" visual impact!
