Replacement Gear for Nordsten Seed Drill (Discontinued Part) – 2-Piece Design
Description:
This is a replacement gear for a Nordsten seed drill, designed for a part that is no longer available as a spare.
The original gear is made as a single piece. This version has been redesigned into two separate parts:
- Outer gear (wear part)
- Inner hub/center piece
Why a 2-piece design?
- Only the gear needs to be reprinted when worn
- Saves material and print time over time
- less supports required, easier and more reliable printing
Assembly:
The two parts are joined using 6x M3 heat-set threaded inserts (Voron spec: M3×5×4) and matching screws.
Install the inserts into the designated holes, then fasten the gear to the hub.
Depending on your printer and material, a light press-fit may require some after work
- Material: PLA, PETG, ABS, or Nylon
- Walls: 10 perimeters
- Infill: 35% Gyroid (results in solid teeth due to wall thickness)
- Orientation: flat on the build plate
Notes:
- This is a custom, non-OEM replacement part
- Use at your own risk – always test fit before operation
- Minor tuning may be required depending on your printer
Designed for those who actually need it — if your original gear is worn out and no replacement exists, this should keep your machine running.
