K9 Operator (German Shepherd) Tactical Working Dog

Revision 2 Update (7/20/26): I focused on cleaning up the overhangs so it prints cleaner, reduces the amount of support material needed, and wastes less filament.  Also added an AMS Version.

This model captures the strength of a K9 working dog, a classic German Shepard, sitting at ready attention. The model is equipped with tactical vest and harness system, and protective ballistic goggles.. This figure is perfect as a unique desk statue, a highly detailed diorama element, or as a character model for collecting.

Print Settings & Tips

• Nozzle: 0.4mm works perfectly for the default size. If you plan to scale the model way down, you might want to swap to a 0.2mm nozzle.
• Layer Height: The profile is set to 0.20mm, but dropping it to 0.16mm or 0.12mm really helps smooth out the curves and hide the layer lines.
• Infill: 8% Gyroid. It’s a great sweet spot for keeping the part strong without wasting filament.
• Adhesion: A brim is definitely required. The legs need that extra grip on the build plate, especially if you're printing fast.
• Colors: I've uploaded both AMS and non-AMS versions, so you can easily swap the colors to fit your style.
• Filament: Recommend PLA Matte, reduces layer lines and support removal is easier.
