3D Miniature Model of Six Flags Discovery Kingdom
The park is located in Vallejo, California (Bay Area), beautifully situated on the shores of Lake Chabot, and offers a completely different dynamic than purely concrete amusement parks.
- The Water Location & Animal Stadiums: This is the foundation for your diorama! The park is located directly on Lake Chabot, allowing you to integrate a great blue waterline into the base plate. In addition, the large, semicircular arenas and water basins (such as the Dolphin or Sea Lion Stadium) significantly shape the layout.
- The Joker: An absolute feast for the eyes for 3D printing! This RMC hybrid roller coaster combines a massive, classic wooden structure with modern steel rails. The insane color combination of purple and green over the beige wood look makes it the visual highlight of your model and a great texture challenge.
- Medusa: For a long time, the undisputed landmark of the park. A huge floorless coaster with the iconic "Sea Serpent Roll" (a double inversion). Its extensive track entanglement dominates the park's front skyline.
- Extreme Verticality (Superman & Batman): As the park suffers from strict space and height limits, there are extremely compact, steep rides here. Superman: Ultimate Flight rises like a huge, red-yellow arch extremely narrowly into the sky, and Batman: The Ride (a 4D Free Spin Coaster) has a very distinctive, lattice-like, rectangular structure. Great for the height and symmetry of your model!
- Roller Coasters Meet Nature: The strong contrast makes the model so appealing. Here you model massive steel constructions that stand right next to animal enclosures, tiger habitats, and shark tanks. A wonderful mix of hard geometry and organic landscapes.
The file contains a quite detailed replica of Six Flags Discovery Kingdom as well as its surroundings.
