The X2D features a dual-nozzle design, where the Teflon feeder tube of the left main nozzle has a noticeable bend, creating significant resistance. When an externally mounted filament spool feeds through the buffer into the main nozzle, it is highly likely to cause the error "Left nozzle feed resistance too high, please check if the spool is jammed". This phenomenon is particularly common when the spool is new and its own weight is substantial. Therefore, this bearing was designed to reduce the friction between the spool itself and the spool holder, preventing printing failures that affect print progress

When installing, first insert the inner guard plate, then sequentially insert the 12 needle rollers. You can rotate the inner guard plate during insertion to ensure they are evenly distributed. Finally, install the outer guard plate and secure it with the buckle. I hope this is useful to everyone

2026.05.10 Update

The diameter of the outer guard plate has been reduced, allowing most filament spools to be loaded directly without needing to remove the outer guard plate. A retaining clip has been added to prevent the outer guard plate from accidentally falling out
