Description
This is a mount specifically designed to install the Yamaha YZ number plate on Derbi Senda and Aprilia SX/RX frames.
Often, mounting this number plate requires the use of makeshift brackets that vibrate. This adapter allows for a solid, clean, and professional mount, integrating perfectly with the original ignition switch.
🛠️ Project Features
- Total Integration: The "U" shaped design is contoured around the key switch: you can start the bike without the mount or number plate getting in the way.
- LED Light Mount: As visible in the photos, the design allows for easy mounting of an LED spotlight (light bar) above the number plate for those who use the bike on the road.
- Plug & Play: It screws directly onto the original fork plate.
🖨️ Printing Tips (Print Settings)
To ensure the part withstands engine vibrations and sun heat:
- Material: Highly recommended PETG, ASA, or ABS. (Avoid PLA as it may soften with heat or become brittle with UV rays).
- Infill: 40-50% with Gyroid pattern for maximum structural strength.
- Walls: At least 6 wall loops.
