Squeezable Travel Bottles 2.0

Here is my new revised version of my travel bottles.

(old version: https://makerworld.com/de/models/1683812-squeezable-travel-bottles#profileId-1784072 )

This version is improved with a larger opening for filling, better sealable, and easier to print.

This version is available in 3 different sizes:

  • small: approx. 75 ml
  • normal: approx. 100 ml
  • large: approx. 250 ml

The bottle consists of three parts:

The bottle body, an insert/spout, and the lid

The bottle is waterproof and therefore ideal as shampoo, dish soap, lotion, BBQ sauce, ... bottles for camping, excursions, hikes, travel first aid kits, and so on.

Info:

For the bottle to be sealed at the lid, it is important that the spout sits firmly in the bottle neck! This means that it has to be pried open a bit when reopening (e.g., with a small screwdriver), but be careful not to apply too much pressure as the spout might break. It is therefore advisable to have 1-2 pieces as spares.

Print tips:

  • With a lower layer height, the bottles become finer and the thread for the lid closes better. However, if you don't want to wait that long, you can also print with the standard layer height of 0.2mm.
  • An infill density of 15% is sufficient.
  • For the bottle to be squeezable, it must naturally be printed with TPU. The lids can be printed with PLA, ABS, PETG, or others.
  • For your insert/spout, I recommend a material/filament that is as stable as possible, but it can also be printed in simple PLA.
  • For the large bottle, I have added Supports in the print profile, which helps the bottle adhere better to the print bed during printing. This is particularly useful for TPU, and I recommend printing it this way!
