Description

Spring-Heeled Jack – Classic Monster in My Pocket Inspired Figurine

Victorian terror, reimagined.

This is my modern take on Spring-Heeled Jack, one of the most infamous figures in British folklore and a standout from the original Monster in My Pocket line. The classic crouched, stalking pose is preserved — low, predatory, and ready to pounce — but refined with sharper anatomy and more realistic sculpt detail.

I’ve leaned into the human origins of the legend, keeping him grounded in a distorted, almost theatrical Victorian figure rather than pushing into full demon territory. The stylised mask, with its flame-like edges, stays true to the original toy while adding a bit more menace and definition.

The sculpt has been designed with printability in mind. Clothing folds, facial features, and hands are all kept deliberately chunky and readable, avoiding fragile details while still giving plenty of texture for painting. The figure stands firmly on a textured cobblestone-style base, tying into the urban folklore roots of the character and helping with clean, stable prints.

The model shown is printed at approximately 9–10cm tall, which gives a nice balance of detail and presence, but it scales down well toward classic MIMP size if you prefer a more authentic pocket-era feel.

Supports are fairly minimal, though depending on your setup you may want to pay attention to the arm and chin area. As always, feel free to tweak settings — and if you land on a particularly clean profile, please share it with the community.

This is a single-piece display model, designed to print cleanly and look the part straight off the bed.

Another step in bringing classic monsters into the modern era… one rooftop leap at a time.
