MTB Saddle Height Marker Collar

I designed this saddle height marker collar to solve a very common problem: having to find the correct saddle position every time.

It's particularly useful if:

• you often remove the saddle from the bike
• the same bike is used by two people of different heights

The collar installs directly onto the seat post, positioning it at the desired height. Once fixed, it stays on the saddle and acts as a precise reference.

👉 When you reinsert the saddle:
just slide the seat post all the way down against the collar and tighten the bike's seat clamp — perfect height every time, without guesswork.

For saddles with a diameter of 30.8, if you need other sizes, write them in the comments and I will immediately create the sizes you need!

⚙️ Assembly

• Insert an M5 nut into the butterfly knob
• Use an M5 hex head screw in the collar
• Tighten the collar on the seat post to the desired position

🧱 Recommended materials

• PETG ✅ (already great)
• ASA 🔥 (recommended for greater weather resistance)

⚠️ ATTENTION

This collar is only a height indicator.
Do not use the bike or sit on the saddle before correctly tightening the original frame clamp.

A simple but extremely practical solution for those who share a bike or often need to remove the saddle.
