Description

I bought my 50R a couple months ago and just like a lot of people I wanted the wooden grip for it. Unfortunately it is very difficult to find, and the ones I did see were either expensive, sold out or had a bit plate on the left side aswell. So I decided to try to make something for myself!

I find the camera bulky enough as it is so I wanted to just have a bigger grip and not a bottom plate. I don't have any 3D modelling skills so this was a learning experience for me aswell, and that does mean it's not perfect by any means, but it works very well. I have it attached with some thin double sided tape on the inside which holds it very well, but still allows me to detach it without damaging the camera. It is printed with Bambu wood filament, sanded and stained. I'm planning to work more on the file to give it a better finish so check back in in a little bit!
