I designed this screen mount for the Vocore 6.8 display to fit on the Fanatec CSL DD base.
The goal was a clean and sturdy solution that places the screen nicely in front of the wheelbase for a proper dashboard look.
The mount uses heat-set threaded inserts, which are installed with a soldering iron, and the screen/frame is secured with black M3 screws.
This gives the whole setup a much cleaner and more solid finish compared to a simple direct screw-in approach.
The model was designed for real use on my own setup and focuses on:
- solid mounting
- clean look
- simple assembly
- good screen position for sim racing dashboards

Assembly
Install the threaded inserts carefully with a soldering iron.
After that, mount the display/frame using M3 screws.
Take your time when inserting the heat-set inserts so everything stays aligned and clean.
