Description
Replacement for GoPro Media Mod windshield. If you have lost the original foam microphone windshield, this improved one is a good choice. Instead of foam, fur is used. The fur is glued to the support frame with some hot glue. This perfectly prevents wind noise. The fur used should be as long and dense as possible, as this will improve the wind protection.
Fur
For this, you will need a little faux fur. A strip of 80 mm x 22 mm is sufficient. First, glue the fur to the front, then the edges. A strip of glue is sufficient on top of the frame. Finally, on the back.
Assembly
First, slip the windshield over the front, and then carefully over the rear microphone. The small wings should snap into the longitudinal grooves of the Media Mod on the frame.
ATTENTION: The print fits very snugly. It must not wobble. If you have assembly problems, you can try to scale the print slightly larger in the longitudinal direction. If the windshield has play, it will generate interference noise.
