Description

DeWalt Jigsaw Hook for Multiboard (DCS334 / DCS335)

A simple hook that clips onto the Multiboard and holds a DeWalt 20V MAX brushless jigsaw by the shoe. Works with both the DCS334 (D-handle) and the DCS335 (barrel grip) since they share the same base.

Why I made it

Other solutions exist out there, but I wanted to work on this one which has a more natural load path, doesn't require free space above to slide the tool in and allows for a shallow blade storage to sit under the jigsaw's shoe.

Have a look at my blade storage compartment.

Printing notes

  • Strongly recommend PETG or better for static load bearing, it's a heavy tool.
  • If you don't use the printing profiles make sure you increase the wall perimeter count for strength.
  • Optimal print orientation as in the files, keep it.

I noticed people don't seem to trust the multiboard snaps all that much. With proper settings and design, I never had issues with them even with relatively heavy items like this jigsaw.

Foot notes

  • I always include STEP files to make remixing or just playing around with my models easier. If you see them missing please let me know and I will add them!
  • One day, filament recycling will be viable. This is why I always deboss material names on an inconspicuous face of my models and I encourage you to do the same. When you will no longer have a use for the part you print today, if by then recycling made it to or near our homes, you will know for sure what it was printed out of.
