Print Profile(1)

Description
Cycloidal Gearbox 1:19 – NEMA 17 Compatible
This is a compact cycloidal gearbox with a reduction ratio of 1:19, designed to work with a NEMA 17 stepper motor. The mechanism provides smooth motion, high torque output, and good mechanical efficiency for robotics and DIY automation projects.
🔧 Required hardware
To assemble the gearbox, the following components are needed:
- 7× M3 threaded inserts
- 7× M3 screws (20 mm length)
- 1× M3 screw (6 mm length)
- 3× bearings 19×10×5 mm
- 1× bearing 45×58×7 mm
- Nylon spacers (M3, 7 mm outer diameter, 10 mm length) – can also be 3D printed
⚙️ Assembly notes
- All M3 threaded inserts must be heat-set into the printed parts, including the motor housing.
- The 3× 19×10×5 bearings must be mounted on the main shaft.
- The 45×58×7 bearing is installed in the motor housing and supports the NEMA 17 mounting side.
- The M3 × 6 mm screw is used to connect the shaft to the eccentric (off-center) drive element.
- Nylon spacers are used as pin guides; printed versions can be used as an alternative to purchased parts.
⚡ Motor compatibility
- Designed for NEMA 17 stepper motors
- Direct mounting without additional adapters required
This cycloidal drive is suitable for applications requiring high torque in a compact form factor, such as robotics, automation systems, and custom mechanical builds.
