Description
Reinforced Industrial Shelf Support - FIL-CORE Concept
Disappointed by the fragility of classic 3D supports, I designed this model to combine an authentic "Loft" style with real security. The idea was born from a personal need: I wanted industrial shelves for my decor, but I refused to see my shelves collapse under the weight of my books.
fil3d Technical Innovation: To guarantee this strength, I developed a simple but effective engineering solution: the Double Structure.
- Outer Tube: An aesthetic sleeve for a perfect look.
- Inner Core: A solid tube printed separately in the opposite direction. By inserting this core, you cross the plastic fibers, creating an incredibly rigid armature capable of supporting real loads.
Result & Printing Tips: The result is a massive support like cast iron (activate the "Fuzzy Skin" option 0.1/0.1mm for this rendering) with the intelligence of additive manufacturing.
- Material: PETG or PLA-CF recommended.
- Infill: 40-50% Gyroid for the core.
