Description

I designed this model with a focus on maximum realism and accurate proportions. It works perfectly as a desk decoration, a photo prop, or a stylish Halloween accessory. Ideal to  scare someone.

I recommend using black PLA and print it with 0.12-0.16mm layer height, 15% infill is optimal in Gyroid pattern.

If you like this spider, please give it a 5-star rating and upload a photo of your print! It helps me a lot.

The print is cool, but I wish the legs were more durable and the supports were easier to remove. I had to print it like three times and fix the file, before I finally got one without the legs breaking while removing the supports.

thanks for the feedback, which print profile did you try to print? tbh when I was removing supports on legs I have accidentally cut one leg off aswell, but with more patience and maybe luck I was able to remove all other legs quite easily (even tho I sometimes had to help myself with a lighter)

I also meant to put 4* not 3 tho. the spider looks good but it was a little frustrating that the supports and legs were too attached. I changed myself the settings of Z distance on the supports to 0.3 and they came out easy but the legs were still too weak so I had to adjust all the print that way make it bigger so they were a little more resistant lol

Printed! I downscaled it to 50% and the legs became too thin and got partially damaged by the support material. Print 100% or maybe a little smaller instead! Great model, I'll likely print again at a larger scale.

wanted to love this but the supports were difficult to get off, broke some of the legs. tried to print at 100% and that was a disaster. not enough supports and certain legs didn't stick to the plate so filament everywhere

I didnt have any problem with legs not sticking, but some supports were more difficult but with more patience I got it right and just had to help myself with a lighter here and there

I can do what I want, the inner legs just don't stick to the bed
