Description

Ultra optimized minimal mount for your M5Stick-C + Unit items. Great for the Joystick 2, etc

Works amazingly well as a remote for my Dug 3 wheel robot project.

    • Plus (m5 docs)
    • Plus2 (m5 docs)
    • StickS3: new model designed to adjust for the changes the locking-tab positions (m5 docs)
  • Attachment modules: Tested and working
  • Should work great
  • Not working (tested)

Looks quite nice, and better than how I've been doing it. If ya get a chance, I'd like to print the s3 version. Would also be neat if you got around to making the m5chain series as well. The big problem with them is I have no lego stuff, and trying to actually use it as designed is impossible because the things fall off constantly, and the actual mcu device (chainkey) is kinda meh, and would be far more useful to use the m5chain stuff with a stick or nano controller

Hey @tawr1337, great to hear from you, thanks! Happy to include my S3 design as well, just added a new plate to my uploaded print profile to include it for you. I've been playing with the M5Chain hardware! Haven't started incorporating it into any of my projects yet, I'm curious what you'd like to see and how you're using or thinking about using it. I hear you about the lego parts, M5 included the connectors in a different M5 motor kit so I happened to have them. Should be easily printable at least.

Replying to @t4obrien :
I bought a few of their mounts, uhh ClipA and ClipB bags a while back, but haven't thought about seeing if they fit the stickS3.. I have modified a few older models to fit the s3 but i have no idea what I'm doing. The chain seems really neat, which is why i bought it just to play with, and a few modules for it (joystick*2, encoder, proto*2. figured I could use the proto ones as 'spacers' for better ergonomics), and only played with it a bit as a bt hid, but just surface level, but it could even be a decent cyberbrick remote fairly easily. Edit: I haven't really posted models here but on the other site I have my profile is the same name no numbers to see my m5 and lora stuff :) Oh also, scaled your cable clamp 12.5% to fit the s3 and it worked fine

Just what i was looking for. Would it be possible to get a plain version with no text etc on it. Or a step file to make our own changes. For the S3 version in particular. Thanks :)

Great to hear it's just what you're looking for @Shadowtrance ! What are you working on, anything I can follow? I've made a low-logo clean STEP file version of my S3 design for you and just uploaded it under "source files." Give that a shot!
