Description

IMPORTANT TO NOTE:

  • If you have no knowledge about soldering you maybe shouldnt do that
  • This Dock is exclusively Designed to Work with a USB-C Mod wich replaces the Original Charging Port

FEATURES:

  • This Dock features a magnetically Interchangable Frontplate wich can be customized to your liking or you can just leave it away
  • Gets powered wich USB-C 
  • Leaves enough room the see every Status LED avaible

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1x Male USB-C Connector (Link below)
  • 1x Female USB-C Connector (Link below)
  • 2x Wires to connect them
  • 3x Magnets (6mmx2mm) for the Dock and 
  • 3x Magnets (6mmx2mm) for every Coverplate

ASSEMBLY:

  1. Solder the 2 Connectors together. Ground to Ground and VCC to VCC
  2. Screw the Female Connector in Place due to USB-C there is no Specific Orientation needed.
  3. Put your 3ds into the Dock and press the Male Connector into the 3DS XL through the Hole in the Dock so that the Connector sitting in the right place and glue the Connector in Place so that it wont remove itself out of existence. Ive used UV-Resin.
  4. If you want to you can now slide the bottom cover in.

Assembly Note:

  • In the Project Ive already added pauses so that you can Place the Magnets inside. Just press them in and hit Continue. Take care that they are orientet right and the poles match with the ones on the potential Cover Plate.
