The original handles of the Zeiss Stemi DV4 microscope are somewhat thin-walled and often break at the screw connections, posing a risk to the expensive device. Therefore, I designed a significantly reinforced and slightly taller handle and printed it to be as stable as possible.

It is important to print the part as stably as possible, as the value of the entire microscope depends on it in an emergency. Compared to the original, I significantly increased the wall thickness and also changed the general structure to achieve more stability.

Please only use very stable filaments like ABS, ASA, PC, or PA for this handle.

The print settings should be chosen to be rather slow, and 100% infill should definitely be used.

I have uploaded the 3mf file with my settings; with it, I successfully printed the part from ABS, and it turned out very stable.

Please note that I do not assume liability for damages arising from the use of my design. The reason for this is that nobody knows your settings and your filament, and therefore there is no way to determine if everything was done properly.
