Description
Attached is a drain key to remove the filter from a Hotpoint washing machine.
Reason is for this design.
I didn't have the strength to rotate the filter cap. i couldn't find a wrench either, so i made a custom key. This not only fits as it should but also reduces damage since its designed specially to fit the handle.
A magnet with the dimensions of 8mm by 3mm is add so you can stick this spare part to the washing machine body so you never lose it.
If this is what your after and you need this adjusting to suit your washer then please let me know.
My model is the Hotpoint NSWR945C . The 7kg, 8kg, nad 9kg are the same model. This part may fit Whirlpool and Beko Since Beko now own Hotpoint and whirlpool.
Printed between 3 and 4 walls and 10 to 15 % infill so should be fine in PLA. This is printed in PET and PETG.
Reason for colour change is i ran out of filament. If you want it in dual colour then please do.
I made the grip chunky but quick to print. I initially tried knurled effect but takes a lot longer to print and more wear and tear on printer. This is very grippy in both tightening and loosening directions. Its easy now to remove the filter
