Description

Wardrobe bar holder/bracket with one countersunk screw holes.

In the profile there are models for 20mm, 22mm, or 25mm bar diameter. (Important note: the default profile is for wooden bars where the diameter is usually smaller than nominal amount; use 0.4mm clearance for metal bars!)

The models has small clip, that clicks the bar in place (inserted from above).

The model is fully configurable:

  • diameter of the bar/rod,
  • clearance for the diameter (0.4mm for loose fit for accurately sized bar/rod measured with callipers),
  • screw size (accepts 3.5mm, 4.0mm, 4.5mm, and 5.0mm; the clearance is calculated automatically),
  • brim width,
  • “clip width” for the mechanical lock for the rod (default is 0.5mm for secure click),
  • base thickness (default is 4.0mm; you can add more thickness to dial down horizontal fit of the bar),
  • support bracket length (this extends the support bracket for more secure width).

If you are afraid that the model might break under the weight, I suggest increasing “brim width" and “support bracket length”. This increases the strength the most. Also, print in “strength" print profile (6 wall loops and 25% infill density) for maximum strength.

Cut the final bar/rod to the closet width  –  2 × base thickness (by default 4mm); so: closet width – 8mm by default.
