Valve Index VR Gun Stock Remix

Overview

This is a fully remixed and consolidated VR gun stock system that combines multiple existing designs into a single, cohesive, and print‑friendly assembly. The goal of this remix is improved compatibility, simplified printing, and better overall usability compared to running separate files from different sources.

All parts have been re‑organized into prepared print plates to reduce setup time and make the model easier to print and assemble.

• Optimized orientation and layout across multiple print plates
• Print‑ready 3MF project with plates, supports, and settings preserved
• Reduced need for manual slicing or part re‑arrangement

This remix is intended to be practical and user‑friendly while respecting the original creators’ work.

Print Plates & Files

• This upload includes a Generic 3MF project file
• Plates are pre‑arranged for easier printing
• Open the 3MF in Bambu Studio to view and select individual plates
• Plates may be printed independently as needed

No manual slicing or part placement should be required.

Printing Notes

• Printer: Bambu Lab (Generic profiles used)
• Nozzle: 0.4 mm
• Filament: PLA / PETG recommended (PETG preferred for higher durability)
• Supports: Only where already included in the plates
• Brim: Optional depending on your material and bed adhesion

Users may adjust settings to suit their own printer and preferences.

Assembly Notes

• Parts are designed to fit together without modification
• Minor sanding or tolerance adjustments may be required depending on printer calibration
• Dry‑fit components before final assembly
• I opted not to use the magnets and instead glued the mounts to the stock mounts

Additional Parts

• 3mm x 8mm magnets
• 1.25" #8-32 round head machine screws with #8-32 matching nuts.
• super glue for the stock pieces and magnets.
