Description

The Ace of Shadows - Your Next Favorite NPC šŸƒ

I’ve been working on this little guy for a while, and I’m finally stoked to share the STL with you all. He’s small, he’s got a smirk that says "I’m about to rob you blind," and he’s carrying enough aces to ruin anyone's night at the tavern.

I really focused on the details that matter for us makers—the texture on the cloak, the tiny details on the cards, and that iconic "mask" hanging on his belt. It’s a fun, quirky sculpt that adds a lot of personality to any collection or D&D session.

Why you’ll love printing this:

  • Personality: It’s not just another soldier; it’s a character with a story.
  • Detail: Even on FDM, the facial expression and the cards come out crisp.
  • Scale: Fits perfectly on a standard 1-inch grid, but honestly, he looks great scaled up as a desk buddy too.

Some tips from my test prints:

I’ve had the best luck printing this on my Bambu Lab using a 0.2mm nozzle for that extra crispness. If you’re using a 0.4mm nozzle, just slow it down a bit and use Tree Supports (Slim)—they pop right off and leave the cape looking clean.

If you’re printing in resin, you’re going to see details you didn't even know were there.

Tag me or upload a "Make" if you print him! I’d love to see how he looks in different filaments or with a proper paint job.

Enjoy the print!
