Description

Miata Delrin Style Shift Knob – M10x1.25

A simple, clean circular shape with flare shift knob is designed to let you test your preferred shape and height before committing to an expensive aftermarket option. This model has confirmed fitment on the ND Miata and uses the common M10 x 1.25 mm thread pitch, making it compatible with most other Miatas and many additional vehicles. This design is very, very similar to the Flyin' Miata's Delrin shift knob. Please check out my other shift knob 3D models for other options!

Width:  48 mm (1.89 in)

Height:  83 mm (3.27 in)

✅ Confirmed Fit

  • Mazda MX-5 (2016–present)

🔁 Likely Compatible (M10 x 1.25)

Most Miatas share this thread:

  • Mazda MX-5 (1990–1997)
  • Mazda MX-5 (1999–2005)
  • Mazda MX-5 (2006–2015)

Other vehicles commonly using M10 x 1.25 (verify before printing):

  • Subaru BRZ
  • Toyota 86
  • Scion FR-S
  • Subaru WRX
  • Nissan 240SX
  • Nissan 350Z

Always confirm your vehicle’s thread pitch before installation.

🛠 Print Settings

  • Thread: M10 x 1.25 mm (modeled directly into the STL)
  • Supports: Not required
  • Orientation: Print right side up (same orientation as installed)
  • Tested in: PLA (for fitment testing)

Recommended Materials for Long-Term Use

Vehicle interiors can get extremely hot and see heavy UV exposure. For durability, use:

  • ABS
  • ASA
  • PETG / PET
  • Nylon

PLA is great for test fitting but may soften over time in high cabin temperatures.

🎨 Design & Customization

  • Clean cylindrical profile
  • Minimalist aesthetic
  • Lightweight and customizable
  • Great for experimenting with height and diameter before buying an aftermarket knob
