🦟 Original Design Intention

Sticky insect balls (like the common "sticky ball artifact" on Taobao) are extremely adhesive, but they are often exposed, making it easy for curious pets, children's toys, or even your own clothes to get stuck.
The insect trap cage I designed safely "encloses" the sticky ball—only allowing flying insects in, preventing accidental contact.

🧩 Printing and Installation Instructions

• Recommended materials: PLA / PETG, no supports needed.
• Assembly method: Place the sticky insect ball into the middle of the cage body, then close the lid or latch. I used two zip ties for fastening, but you can also print a latch yourself to secure the top cover.
• Placement Suggestion: Place it in areas with high insect activity, such as the kitchen, next to trash cans, or in plant areas. A height of 20-50cm from the ground yields better results.
