• Total Height: Make it a shallow coin tray or a deep tool cup.
• Wall Thickness & Corner Radius: Thicken the walls for a heavy, rugged look, or thin them out for a sleek, modern aesthetic.
• The TPU Bumper Belt: Control the exact thickness of the rubber bumper ring, and slide it up or down the tray (from 20% to 80% of the height) to dial in the perfect visual proportions.
• Multi-Material Export: Use the "Part to Render" dropdown to easily isolate and export the Base, the Belt, and the Rim for flawless multi-material slicing.

🧵 Recommended Materials

To achieve the "satin-anodized" or molded-rubber look of a premium commercial product, filament choice is key:

• The Base: Matte filaments with additives. PLA/PLA-CF (Carbon Fiber), PETG/PETG-CF, or matte ASA. This hides layer lines and gives the tray serious weight and rigidity.
• The Belt & Top Rim: TPU 95A (or softer). This provides the functional, soft-touch grip on the rim and the shock-absorbing bumper around the perimeter.

If you want this to look like bead-blasted aluminum or high-end automotive trim rather than standard 3D printed plastic, use these settings in Bambu Studio:

• Wall Generator: Arachne (Crucial for smooth multi-material flowing)

• Fuzzy Skin Point Distance: 0.1 mm
