Description
This model is an internal holder designed to mount an Acetech Bifrost BT tracer unit inside the VFC MP7 mock suppressor.
The holder consists of two printed parts: the main shell and a locking ring. The locking ring secures the tracer inside the shell and is designed with tight tolerances to prevent any rattling during use.
Installation Steps:
- Insert the Tracer: Place the Acetech Bifrost BT into the main shell. Ensure that the tracer unit and its acrylic front piece are correctly aligned and pressed all the way down into the shell.
- Secure the Locking Ring: Insert the locking ring to secure the tracer. Because the fit is intentionally tight, place a flathead screwdriver into the slot on the ring to gain enough leverage to turn and lock it into place.
- Mounting in the Suppressor: To install the assembly into the VFC MP7 suppressor, remove two of the internal foam rings to make space, then slide the holder in.
- Flame Effect Configuration: You can choose to remove or keep the metal ring inside the VFC suppressor. If you leave the metal ring in place while using the Bifrost's flame effect, the light will still partially illuminate, creating a nice visual effect. Alternatively, you can remove the ring entirely to allow for the standard, unobstructed flame effect.
Print Recommendations:
- Material: Standard PLA is perfectly fine for this application.
- Layer height: 0.20mm.
- Infill: 15% is sufficient.
