🖨️ 3D Printing & Slicing Tips

To get the absolute best results from your personalized cards, I recommend tweaking a few slicer settings:

1. Scale for Detail: The bigger the card, the better the quality! Scaling up the model gives your printer more physical space to capture the tiny, intricate details of the photos and text.
2. Enable Ironing: To capture all the tiny details on the photos and text, turn on topmost surface ironing. A normal flow rate is between 20-30% depending on your filament. You can play around with it, but 25% flow works perfectly for all my prints!
3. 0.2mm Nozzle (Optional): In theory, a thinner line width will give you a more detailed print. However, I didn't notice a massive difference, and the default 0.4mm nozzle prints this perfectly. Just keep it in mind if you want to push for ultra-fine details!
4. Use Arachne Wall Generator: If you absolutely don't want to use ironing, or if you are printing with a thicker nozzle, switch your wall generator to "Arachne" in your slicer. This helps capture those tiny line details much better than the classic wall generator.
5. Print on a Textured/Smooth PEI Plate: Completely optional, but highly recommended! Having a nice back surface on a PEI plate gives the card a smooth, premium look and feel from both sides.

The "PRO Web Generator" linked above is a completely separate, standalone web application built from scratch using different technologies (WebGL/JavaScript). It generates direct 3MF exports in the browser and does not host, use, or distribute this exclusive OpenSCAD source code anywhere else.
