A Better Shower Curtain Hook

The Problem
My shower curtain had several annoying features. The eyelets would constantly slip off the hooks, and the hooks themselves would pop off the rod whenever I was in a hurry. To make matters worse, since the curtain and liner were sandwiched together on a single hook, there was zero airflow. Everything stayed damp for hours, which is a recipe for a "gross" shower.
The Solution
I designed this hook to solve all three issues at once.
- Airflow Gap: The curtain and liner hook onto opposite sides. This creates a wide gap that lets air circulate, helping everything dry out much faster.
- Kid-Proof Grip: The narrow gaps at the ends of the hooks keep the eyelets locked in place. No matter how aggressively my kids shake the curtain when opening and closing, it stays put.
- Snap-on Fit: The flared opening allows the hook to snap securely onto the rod so it won't fall off, while the chamfered edges ensure it glides smoothly without catching or binding.
PETG works best for the added flexibility but I've tested PLA and it works just fine too. Select whichever you'd prefer and Bambu Handy will sort it all out. I’ve been using these for a while now and they’ve cleaned things up a lot. I hope they work just as well for your bathroom!
