Description

Hi packers, this is Ganapro.

If you are like me, packing orders on a daily basis, it really gets boring. So I wanted to make the experience just a bit more enjoyable — with something that feels a little more personal and fun!

This is a 48mm packing tape dispenser, specifically designed for packing… and making money — and getting rich!! No structural supports for the main parts. The only support is under the text(optional) for slightly better details.

If you have a more capable multi-color printer, or simply don't mind longer print time, use the STL — the parts are separated so you can assign different colors.

That said, I enjoyed mine even with a single color print already😊 The Bambu PLA-CF Jean Blue really brings out the details beautifully.

(I just used a white acrylic pen to highlight the logo)

The tape stopper is designed with a snap lock push-button mechanism that snap into place to slightly pressed into the tape to prevent the tape from accidentally rolling back.

The top cover piece is also built with 3 raised glide pads to reduce friction while pulling the tape.

Printing Notes:

 * PLA-CF is recommended for the blade with the 0.12mm layer height to allow a sharp tip details, giving a cleaner and crisper cut.

 * Except for the aesthetic concerns and the cutter blade(0.12mm recommended),  everything should work with a 0.2mm layer height to save time.

I printed all parts using PLA-CF, mainly to fit everything on one plate and save time. However, standard PLA it should work just fine.

The blade is also replaceable, please feel free to print a few extras for future use. I have been using the same blade from the starts and it's been a month and still work fine :)  As for a smoother tape cut, it just need a little experience with the angle pressed into the tape. After all, it is not the stainless steel blade that has such pointy blade teeth.)

*Tip: When cutting tape, press it slightly toward one side — it makes tearing smoother and easier.

Very nice model, is there a possibility to have a 24mm version?
