Description

Eclipson Model A 3D Printed RC Aircraft (FREE)!

Eclipson model A is just a functional 3D printed RC plane extremely easy to print, assemble and fly. So if you are a beginner with 3D printed planes this is your model!. The plane has been designed from scratch to be 3D printed and to be an RC plane, meaning that his outer shape has been optimised for those purposes and that is the key factor that explains why this model flies  incredibly  well without any extra drag or extra weight typical from scale models, but also explains why it is so easy to assemble since it uses very little parts allowing you to rebuild the plane quite fast and for a really low price: Just 12€ if printed with LW-PLA or 6€ if printed with cheap PLA. So do not be afraid of crashing this model, the electronics will survive and can be reused not only in the next model A that you print but also in any of our designs since we have standardized all the electronic components to reduce even more the price of your RC plane.

When I slice this fuselage section in Bambu Studio, there are no internal reinforcement ribs inside. Is that because it's a free model, or is there something wrong with my slicer settings?

Hello, I printed all the parts without issue using quality PLA However, isn't there an issue with the part that mounts the brushless motor The holes are not centered Thank you for your feedback PS It's a shame there isn't a version with wheel mounts

the holes are correct. they are just angled so the motor wires can go through the bottom into the fuselage

the g code is probably for another printer. you will have to manually slice it and set the parameters to your printer

I have used wheels for this model. you can really use a variety of foam wheels of diameter 6-3cm. the best option to keep it cheap is to 3D print ur wheels out of TPU
