White Marble (13103) / Filament with spool / 1 kg

Description

The model features the iconic Scallop Shell (Vieira) with the Cross of Saint James embossed in the center, mounted on an integrated sturdy stand.

The design was optimized to highlight the radial textures of the shell. It looks particularly stunning when printed with Marble or Stone PLA, giving it the authentic appearance of a hand-carved granite or marble sculpture.

Key Features:

  • Integrated Stand: Single-piece design, no assembly or glue required.
  • Deep Symbolism: A perfect gift for pilgrims, history enthusiasts, or as a religious decorative item.
  • Optimized Geometry: Detailed ridges that catch the light beautifully, especially with matte or textured filaments.

Print Settings

To achieve the look shown in the photos, I recommend the following settings:

  • Filament: PLA Marble, Stone, or Matte Gray.
  • Layer Height: 0.16mm or 0.20mm (0.16mm is better for capturing the fine detail of the cross and smoothing the shell curves).
  • Wall Loops: 2 or 3.
  • Infill: 10% to 15% (Gyroid recommended for strength).
  • Supports: Depending on your printer's bridging capabilities, you might need a small amount of Tree Supports under the widest parts of the shell. The back pillar is self-supporting.
  • Build Plate: A textured PEI plate adds a nice organic finish to the base.

Destaques do modelo:

  • Preenchimento (Infill): 10% a 15% (Padrão Gyroid funciona bem).
