Sides/winglets for a car spoiler-shaped shelf.
To give it a better finish, I painted the pieces with glossy polyurethane paint :)
For the shelf, I used:
- A 15mm thick, 1000x220mm wooden board (melamine).
- The wall-mounted supports are made of 3mm laser-cut and folded aluminum (You can write to me for the cutting and bending plans).
- In some cases, I used plotter-cut vinyl to place on top of the board.
Screws and assembly
- To anchor the sides/winglets to the board, I used 4 M6 wood inserts (I used a 9mm drill bit to make the holes in the sides, but it depends on the size of the insert you purchase).
- 4 M6x20 button head screws.
- Wall anchor, 4 N8 X 1¼'' drywall screws.
- Anchoring the supports to the board: 4 N8 x ¾'' drywall screws (Use pliers to remove the tip so it doesn't go through the board).
