Netatmo anemometer / windmeter bird spikes
This is a protective cover with integrated bird‑deterrent spikes designed for the Netatmo wind meter. It prevents birds and other small animals from sitting, climbing, or nesting on top of the device, which can cause pollution or even damage to the sensitive ultrasonic sensors.
The cover fits snugly onto the wind meter housing while remaining very easy to attach. No glue, adhesive, sealant, or tape is required for assembly.
A small vent hole in the side wall allows trapped air between the wind meter and the cover to escape, preventing pressure buildup.
TIP: When installing the cover, make sure the vent hole aligns with the arrow on top of the wind meter. This arrow is your reference point and should face North when mounting the device. Since the arrow is no longer visible once the cover is installed, the vent hole can serve as its replacement reference point.
