"An Important Piece" – Appreciation Trophy

This trophy was created to honor the "everyday heroes" in our lives. We designed it specifically for the wonderful teachers at our oldest child’s kindergarten. They have been such an important part of our child’s growth and safety, and we wanted to give them something more personal than a store-bought card—something that symbolizes the vital role they play.

“An Important Piece of Your Life”

In life, some people are like the missing pieces of a puzzle. They help things fit together, they provide support when it's needed most, and they help complete the bigger picture. Whether it’s a teacher, a mentor, a coach, or a friend, this trophy is designed to be given to someone who has been an essential piece of your journey.

Design Features:

• Symbolic Puzzle Shape: Represents how individuals contribute to a larger community.
• Customizable Base: The base has a dedicated area for text. You can easily add your own personal message using the "Text Shape" tool in Bambu Studio.
• Minimalist Aesthetic: Looks great in Silk Gold, Silver, or even Marble PLA for a premium feel.
• Customizable Color Palette: The puzzle pieces can be printed in different colors to represent the diversity and vibrancy of a classroom. You can even choose a unique color for one specific piece to highlight that "important piece" of your life that the trophy is for.

Printing Tips:

• Infill: I chose 40% infill for the base to give it a bit more weight an make it feel more substantial.
• Filament: Use a "Silk" filament for a metallic award look.
• Text: Make the text looks fine in the preview before printing. The small text can easily be distorted. When the text didn't look good with defaults, i had good results from choosing the Arachne wall generator and playing around with the Minimum Wall Width setting. Reducing this setting tended to give a better result.
• Scaling: The model is pre-scaled for a desk or shelf, but can be scaled up if you want a more substantial "Grand Prize" feel!
