Description
This is a Tetrakis hexahedron. A popular object in demoscene prods of the 90s. I didn't really know the name of this particular solid before recently. I call it simply hedron.
Interesting visual effect is achieved by making half of the faces transparent. Transparency is achieved by bridging.
This object may be challenging to print. Combine with a checkerboard and creative lighting to build your own IRL demoscene objet d'art.
