X2D Handle
Print Profile(2)

Description
Everyone knows the very first thing you print on a new 3D printer isn’t something practical… it’s something for the printer itself. It’s basically a rite of passage. You don’t truly own the machine until you’ve upgraded it with parts it made on its own like some kind of plastic-powered self-improvement arc.
So naturally, I started where all respectable tinkering begins: fixing something that wasn’t technically broken.
I designed a replacement handle for the X2D because the stock one? Usable. Acceptable. But does it spark joy? Not quite. Mine is a bit larger, way easier to grab, and actually feels like it was designed for human hands instead of a polite suggestion of where your fingers should go. It’s got a smoother, more ergonomic curve that makes opening the printer feel less like a chore and more like you’re entering a high-end machine (even if you’re just checking on a spaghetti failure).
And of course, I had to give it some personality, so I added bold “X2D” text right on the face. Because if you’re going to upgrade your printer, everyone needs to know you upgraded your printer.
Is it necessary? Absolutely not.
Does it make the printer feel cooler? 100%.
Will I continue printing upgrades for the printer instead of things I actually need? Also yes.
