Description
Inspired by some models here on MakerWorld, I designed my own modular holder for service work on handlebars / forks / stems.
Attachment to the frame, like with others, is done with textile tensioning straps (e.g. from the camping sector). Currently, the mount for the stem is designed for 1 1/8"; other sizes can, of course, be easily incorporated due to the modularity.
The following threaded inserts are required:
4x M4x5(diameter)x4(length), 1x M6x8x8
and 4x screws DIN 6912 M4x6 (flat head) or DIN912 M4x6 (standard head height)
and if needed, 1x neodymium magnet (rectangular) 9.5x49x3
The pictured version is printed from PLA Tough… I am currently testing a print from TPU, which saves you from having to pad / line it with foam / rags etc to protect the bicycle frame!
