Description

Meet the MiniCyte 3D! The addition to your laboratory that you didn't know you needed! There are two versions of this holder, one for 3mL tubes and one for micro tubes. This file is free for personal use, but Venmo donations to @Laurel-Edge-1 are appreciated and will go towards my vet tech school.

i'm a bit confused; what's with the tab in the bottom corner for? i also see you have a printed label? where are the files for those?

I'm not sure what you mean by "the tab in the bottom corner". There is no printed label. Everything is painted on the plain white model.

could you make this model with color, the waste vs the time to go get the paint pens is probable pretty equal, unsure if printing on its side would be less waste overall or if the missing area that holds the tube would mess up

Printing it in color would take 15 hours for one model

This is pretty niche, but my wife loves it and it's become a conversation piece at work. Thanks for the model! Would be great if it could be split to make the red-section a separate piece, as the current design makes it hard to paint cleanly.

Printed perfectly. I colored it manually and the buttons were a little off (not perfectly round) but print is perfectly functional

I really want to be able to color in and print these with my multiextrusion printer, but the topology of the model is such a nightmare that that is near impossible to do cleanly. Really wish this model was cleaned up more.
