This is a segmented rear spoiler design for the Cybertruck tailgate. I designed, printed, and installed this on my own truck to check fit and installation. The design is broken into multiple panels so it’s easier to print and gives some flexibility during install.

These install using standard automotive double-sided tape (3M VHB or equivalent), similar to exterior trim. Clean both surfaces with isopropyl alcohol, apply the tape to the parts, position carefully, and apply firm pressure. Full bond strength develops over about 24 hours. I’ve had mine installed for a few days, including highway driving around 70 mph, and it’s been solid with no issues and no interference with the tailgate.

I printed mine in ASA, which is recommended (or similar) for UV and temperature resistance. The included settings use a thicker shell for durability. ASA can be prone to edge lift, so a brim is included and a clean build plate is important. I did get a small amount of lift on a few edges, which shows up as slight gaps between panels once installed. On the Cybertruck this blends in reasonably well, but if you want a more seamless look you could bond the panels together, fill, sand, and paint.

The bottom of the parts is flat, but the truck surface isn’t perfectly flat, so they can want to rock slightly. Tape layout makes a difference here. I initially used full-length strips along the front and rear, but I think a U-shape (front edge and sides) or shorter segmented strips will conform better. This can be as simple or as involved as you want depending on how far you take the finishing.
