Boost Me (for free)

Every boost helps motivate me to keep restoring and importing more great works of art into MakerWorld. Thanks for supporting this ongoing project!

This remix is based on a sculpture of Diana, the Roman goddess of the hunt (Greek: Artemis), depicted here alongside her hound companion and with a quiver of arrows on her back—two of her most recognizable attributes. As a deity of the wilderness, hunting, and the moon, Diana represents independence, strength, and a deep connection to nature.

The composition captures a classic neoclassical interpretation of the goddess: an idealized figure in gentle contrapposto, with flowing drapery that adds motion and elegance. The presence of the dog reinforces her identity as a huntress, while the quiver signals her role as a skilled archer. Together, these elements make this a more narratively grounded and identifiable subject than many generic classical figures.

I imported the original model into Bambu Studio, oriented it for optimal printing, and scaled it to the maximum dimensions supported by A1, P1, and X1 printers. I optimized infill settings to balance structural strength and material efficiency while preserving fine detail.

This print is relatively straightforward, though depending on your orientation, you may want light, targeted supports—particularly around the dog and any extended elements like the arm or drapery edges. The main body of the figure prints cleanly and captures detail well.

Post-processing is minimal. Any support contact points can be lightly cleaned up with a file or fine-grit sandpaper. The sculptural folds and anatomy come through especially well with a matte or stone-textured filament.

Printed in Elegoo Marble PLA using the Generic High-Speed PLA profile.

Note: Tall prints can lose adhesion in the final moments. Please wash your build plate prior to printing. Or consider scaling down 10%. I've also had really good luck using BIQU Cryogrip Pro Frostbite build plates.
