Description
đ About the Project
Lost the original cardboard box for your Pick-up Sticks (known as "Bierki" in Poland)? Or maybe the paper manual got torn? This project solves both problems! This is a sturdy, snap-fit storage box designed specifically for the classic game of Pick-up Sticks.
Its greatest feature is the embossed visual instruction and scoring table on the bottom. Thanks to multicolor printing, the rules of the game are always clear, easy to read, and impossible to lose! The lid is decorated with a classic, stylized "BIERKI" inscription.
⨠Main Features
- Rules Always at Hand: Drawings showing how to drop the sticks and a detailed scoring table for the different tool shapes (trident, harpoon, paddle, etc.) are integrated directly into the bottom of the box.
- Multicolor Design: Optimized for AMS/MMU systems, allowing the text and graphics to stand out clearly against the background.
- Secure Closure: The box is secured with separately printed snap-latches, preventing the sticks from accidentally spilling out in a drawer or backpack.
âď¸ Included Print Profile Details (Important!)
To ensure the text and tiny images on the bottom of the box are perfectly legible, the print profile has been optimized for high detail.
- Required Nozzle: 0.2 mm. Note: Printing this with a standard 0.4 mm nozzle may result in unreadable small text in the scoring table!
- Layer Height: 0.10 mm (Standard for 0.2 nozzle) â ensures perfect detail reproduction.
- Material: The profile is set for PETG, which guarantees high durability for the box and flexibility for the snap-latches (you can easily switch to PLA in your slicer).
- Colors: Requires 2 colors (e.g., blue and white). Filament changes are minimized (only around 11 swaps for the entire print).
- Estimated Print Time: ~14 hours (due to the 0.2 mm nozzle and 0.1 mm layer height for maximum quality).
- Weight: ~93 grams.
đ ď¸ Assembly
The print consists of the box base, the lid, and separately printed latches/hinges (located on the second build plate). After printing, simply snap the pieces togetherâthe white latches connect the top and bottom and secure the box from opening.
