Description
V2 Update: The "Sandwich" System A complete redesign of the GPS mount for the Mark 5 frame. This version introduces a bottom-loading logic, eliminating the need to stretch or force the TPU during installation.
Features:
- Slide-and-Lock: A secure retention system utilizing a sliding fit and a separate bottom plate.
- Geometric Retention: The GPS module is secured by the internal shape of the mount and the bottom cover. This significantly reduces the risk of losing the module even during high-impact crashes.
- Helper Slots: Integrated cutouts provide visual guidance and clear tool paths, making it easier to align your screwdriver with the hex heads.
- Assembly Order: Insert GPS → Close with the 3D-printed bottom retaining plate → Slide onto the frame → Tighten the screws by shifting the mount for easy access.
Print Settings:
- Material: TPU (95A)
- Walls: 2-3 | Infill: 15-20%
- Supports: Minimal (Tree supports recommended)
