Description

Build Guide:

Weight: Approx. 30 g when printed in PLA (when assembled with electronics).

Weight can be reduced further by adding negative space, structural cut‑outs, or using lighter materials such as ABS, ASA, or Nylon.

Hardware Requirements: Uses the original Superlight 2 screws

Side Buttons (Button 4/5): This shell does not include mounts for side buttons. They must either be tucked away internally or removed entirely during the mod.

Modding Disclaimer: Disassembling or modifying your mouse carries inherent risk. You accept full responsibility for any damage, malfunction, or loss of warranty resulting from the modification.

Updates:

22/04/26

Review Last images:  Button braces added to reuse the contact “tape”? from the original button contact points (circled in image). Upon testing I noticed without them there would be slight wear on the switch's from direct contact with the screw head. These braces for the tape have been added to minimise that issue.

24/04/26
Updated model to ensure laser distance from surface works on default distance setting in software (Medium).

25/05/26
Model tweaked to add second beam under button mouting to ensure rigidity in button tension. Adjust screws as necessary or use lighter/heat to slightly warp the plastic to desired position/actuation strength.
