Description

Version 4.0

Improvements in version 4.0:

  • Rebranding this model as the Line 'Em Up system.
  • Minimal small parts.
  • Use the MakerWorld Customizer to make your own toppers and magazine sled. The universal topper was a little flimsy and prone to deform after repeated use.
  • Main tower supporting the pistol has tight tolerances but the sled can still be easily moved. Lock it in place witht he tab lock.
  • Topper retention pin is thicker and makes solid contact with the tower base. Can be easily removed without fully taking the whole thing apart.
  • Tower base labels can be pushed from the back to remove without marring them.
  • All components are based on a 7mm unit size. The length of the trays and sleds are multiples of 7mm.

Much appreciate the support.

Added some magazine holders for AR15: here

Customize with logos:

I like putting logos on things which can be done in Bambu Studio.

You can right-click on a surface to “Add Part” or “Add Modifier”. Select your preferred SVG file with image you want on the part.

Rotate and position the SVG on the face. You can scale the image using the slider in the settings next to the “Size” box. Also be sure to change the depth. It defaults to 10mm. My models have a 1mm raised logo.

When you change the Process viewer to Objects, the SVG shows as a separate item. You can change the color of the entire SVG here. It takes several clicks on the filament to get the dropdown choices.

What to print:

  1. Choose a tray size. All tray print profiles are prefixed with (A). Several variants available based on your print bed size (see table below).
  2. Choose a base tower from “B. Tower Bases
  3. Choose a topper from “C. Tower Toppers
  4. Optionally choose a magazine sled from “D. Mag Sleds

Customizer Settings:

I have pre-made some toppers and mag sleds (C and D print profiles). Use the following as reference for your own needs:

  • Set either UseChamfer or UseFillet to “1” to indicate how the deck edges will be rendered. Fillets are rounded for pistols without dust covers.
  • “Deck ChamferFillet” are used with either option
  • Set the Tower Base Height to whichever one you need from the “B. Tower Bases” print profile. I found that small concealed carry pistols need the 30mm height; compact 3-4 inch barrelled pistols need the 50mm height; and full size 5-inch barrel pistols and revolvers need the 65mm height.
  • Deck Height and Overall Tower Height are calculated from ground, which includes the height of the tower base.

I used a tool like this RadGauge to help determine the front and rear edges of my magazines.

Design Highlights:

Retention pins:

Label removal holes:

Toppers and bases printed with their sizes to help match after printing:

Longer trays allow for magazines to be store behind the pistol:

Revolver quick loaders can be stored in front of the tower:

I could not use the name or logo of this manufacturer since one of my models was taken down by their request.

Yes, the v3 bases work perfectly. I only changed the overall lengths.

I printed your V3.1 and love them, and will be printing the mag holder as well! Any chance you easily have files that could be used as blanks for folks to modify? I'd like a spot to keep my normally chambered round or a tray to keep my TLR7 that I don't always have on my G43x!

I have an empty sled on the 3.1 model but added one here as well so you can find it easier. Just do the "Download" option about and you should be able to find it. You can add Negative parts in the slicer to create a single bullet cutout and even a slot to store the light. Or use some modeling software to adjust further

The STL's from this collection are missing and the Tower base 3mf has a non-compliant format error in it. Any chance you can upload the STL's so I can print them on my Prusa?

You should be able to save individual STLs from the 3mf files in the slicer, but I'll add a zip file with all the STLs... there are a lot. Can you tell me more about the non-compliant format? I do not get any warnings in Bambu Slicer. Which slicer are you using?

There is already a topper in the "C. Tower Toppers" profile above. Pair it with the 50mm tower base. I have mine sitting in a 248.5 tray, but that doesn't leave room for any mags. If you have a larger printer, go with one of the longer trays and you can fit a tray in front.

I love these just printed a couple. I was wondering if you can make a mag holder for desert eagle mags?

Have you tried the Customizer? I don't have the dimension but since you do, just enter them into the customizer.
