History of the Object
Saint Patrick (5th century) was a missionary credited with bringing Christianity to Ireland. He is often associated with the shamrock, which he used to explain the concept of the Trinity.
Because of his work, he is one of the most recognized saints worldwide and strongly connected to Irish heritage.
