Description
Chain cleaner with liquid collection tray
Designed to be used with 3 old toothbrush heads.
Useful if you want to degrease the chain before lubricating it with specific chain oil.
The cleaning head has 2 input holes for nozzles to use a specific degreaser such as WD-40 chain degreaser, or any other brand.
- The cleaning head cover is secured with two M4 countersunk screws; 2 threaded inserts will also be needed to be heat-set into the head for screwing it in.
- The head snaps onto the liquid collection tray thanks to four dovetail slots.
- I have added four housings for four 6mm x 2mm magnets to speed up coupling and attachment. As soon as you bring the head close to the tray, both are attracted by the magnets.
- Magnets are not essential; the snap-lock already works well on its own.
IMPORTANT: Once the head is printed, sand the bottom part with fine sandpaper to properly smooth the base so that it slides well on the tray, otherwise you will have difficulty inserting and removing it. If you do this step, you will have no problems.
There are two versions of the cleaner:
One with a DOT texture for greater grip and a standard smooth one.
