Description

Coal/Sand/gravel insert for Marklin car 4631.
If printed in black it looks like coal and if printed in sand/gravel color it will resemble that.
Its designed to press fit, but can be a little tricky if the cars are old and the sides has warped a little, so be carefull when inserted. Slide it in lengthwise and press down in the end.
There are indentations in both ends where the ladders are attached - observe that one is larger than the other.
If you cut all the material in the indentations off the ladders will poke through, but the coal insert will sit lower and firmer and will fit better in the box - else the coal will catch on the box.
This print is made from this original : https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2839121
Due to the intrikate nature of the original 3D print it will take some time to print.
Use 0.2mm nozzle for best result and a brim to avoid bending.
Compared to the original, this print is aimed at using as little filament as possible.
This print uses aprox 5 Gram PLA

The slicer will most likely warn about the print having floating regions, but just print anyway.
Do not use supports - it will be a nightmare to remove and will not help
