Baby‑Safe Outlet and Plug Enclosure
Print Profile(1)

Description
I designed this Baby‑Safe Outlet & Plug Enclosure for a friend whose little girl loves exploring every corner of the house. The goal is simple: hide the outlet and the plugged‑in cable so it doesn’t attract a curious baby’s attention, while keeping everything secure and out of reach.
How It Mounts
The enclosure body is held in place using the existing wall outlet faceplate.
- Remove the two screws from your outlet’s decorative plate.
Align the enclosure body over the outlet.

Re‑install the original plate and screws to secure everything together. No extra hardware needed.

How the Lid Works
The Lid attaches to the Body using four triangular latches—two at the bottom and two at the top.
To close the Lid:
Hook the bottom two latches first.

Then close the top section.

- You may need to press down slightly on the top middle wall of the Body; the top latches push outward a bit due to spring tension.
Once all four latches snap into their matching triangular openings, the Lid is firmly locked in place.

To open the Lid:
Press the two triangular latch tabs to release the top section.

- Lift the Lid away from the Body.
This creates a secure enclosure that keeps plugs and cables safely out of sight and out of reach.
Hope this model is helpful for your home as well. 😉
