Overview
Part of the Sleeping Critters Collection, this Sleeping Owl proves even the night shift needs a break. Perched and tucked in with its head lowered, this model keeps things clean and printable while still capturing that classic owl silhouette.
Simple geometry, smooth surfaces, and no nonsense this one is designed to print without turning into a feather-by-feather support nightmare.
Supports & Removal Notes
- Designed for minimal supports
- Usually prints fine:
- No supports, or
- Light tree supports under the beak and belly if needed
- Wing edges and beak are the only areas to watch
- Remove supports slowly and carefully to avoid marking the front details
Important Notes
- Optimized for FDM printing with reliable results
- Scales well, but very small prints may lose some facial definition
- Best printed at 0.16–0.2 layer height
- This is a decor model not designed for rough handling
